Why is Ram Lalla’s Murti Black

The ancient scripture portrays Lord Rama with a Shyamal Roop, signifying a darker skin complexion. Consequently, the black color of Ram Lalla's idol aligns with the scriptural narrative, establishing a connection between the idol's appearance and the descriptions found in the Ramayana.

Ram Janmabhoomi Movement

The demolition of the Babri Masjid triggered a prolonged legal and political battle over the ownership of the site. Hindu nationalist organizations, led by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), spearheaded the Ram Janmabhoomi Movement, advocating for the construction of a Ram temple at the site.

Machines have been installed to distribute Prasad to all devotees. These machines are placed on the return path of the pilgrims in the premises. Currently, there is no arrangement for Prasad inside the temple premises with fees.

Devotees can also offer vegetarian and pure sweets and dry fruits with special permission. Due to security reasons, devotees cannot bring coconuts, flower garlands, makeup, or any other items to offer to Lord Ram in the temple.
